Hagiwara America, Inc.

Hagiwara America is the second overseas base of the Hagiwara Electric Group and is headquartered near Detroit, the home of the US automobile industry. Hagiwara America is responsible for developing and expanding business in the United States and Mexico. It is the group's biggest base in terms of both performance and organization. In October 2016, Hagiwara America celebrated the 10th anniversary of its establishment. All the staff are now working together to make the next 10 years equally as successful.

The automobile industry—Hagiwara America's main customer—is facing a huge wave of innovation in the form of automatic driving, connected cars and other game-changing developments. Even in such a volatile business environment, Hagiwara America continues to fulfill its goal of supporting the other overseas bases of the Hagiwara Electric Group by meeting the needs of its customers and boldly grasping business opportunities, harnessing the spirit of "Creativity and Ambition" that is the management philosophy of Hagiwara Electric Group.

Hagiwara America’s slogan for this year is, “One Team Hagiwara America!”. During the Japan-hosted 2019 Rugby World Cup, Japan’s Brave Blossoms used the motto “One Team” to unite their team to a historic advance to the top eight. Due to the excitement surrounding the world cup, “One Team” was chosen as the 2019 buzzword of the year. Every year Hagiwara America continues to grow, and is the largest overseas base of our parent company, Hagiwara Electric Holdings, Co., Ltd.. We are aiming for even greater growth in 2020 in both our business and organizational structure. This year’s slogan was chosen because we believe that “One Team” is the perfect way to utilize the full potential of Hagiwara America’s talented employees and go beyond 100% as an organization.
